Its the Little Things!

So today was interesting. :) i somehow woke from a deep slumber (went to bed at 3:45 ish, and got up at 5:15...somehow managed to get wonderful sleep!) and got ready for work, only to realize it was in the 5 oclock hr and i didnt have to be ready to leave until 6:45.... great! (can you hear the sarcasm?) I know, I know, i should have stayed up and done things around my house or spent time reading, etc... but i needed sleep. and thankfully the migraine that was forming stayed at bay, and headache went away!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!

anyways, with all that being said, i had a great day! I love my job. I am so blessed to get to spend time with the sweetest family. Yesterday as i was leaving work, Jesse was taking a bath. and i stuck my head at the door and told her that i loved her... (to which i usually say "to the moon and back." She usually will say that she loves me "with all her heart." Last night i said "I love you tooo....... and waited for her to finish the sentence." and she says.... "I love youuuu..." I then said, "I love you to the moon annnnnddddddd......" and she replied "BACK and FORTH." :) The littlest of things make me smile and laugh. and just thrill my heart. and kids sometimes say the cutest things.

The Lord knew how much i needed the Via family in my life and i am just MORE than honored that they asked me to work with their "zoo." :) Sj always says that life at their house gets a little crazy sometimes. Maybe... but I like crazy and fun and I love them!

so i was hopeful to keep up with the blog, but as it turned out, our laptop got a virus soon after the previous post and then life got busy with the holidays and such, and i just turned to my trusty real papered journal. Life has been interesting so far this year. I can only expect more! :) Technically today is the 23rd of February (it is in the 1 am hour) and I still have two Christmas trees up. what is the world coming to! ;p and the high for today is something in the 70s. Does that make sense??! No! I am entirely ready for snow, but totally ready for the beach too! The next couple of weeks shall be interesting. Tomorrow night starts our ladies bible study at our home. Friday will be my 20 mile day. Next weekend is the Rock n Roll Marathon (26.2 miles) in New Orleans. and then Family Vacay! I am beyond blessed with my life that God has given me to live, though i know i struggle so much in my walk with Him and am praying daily more and more for Him to make me into the lady He wants me to be.
