Since it's been a while... I'll try to update as much as I can. First of all, we have a new car. We bought a 2006 Saturn Vue! It's really nice. (I'll try to have pics soon) White in color, with the full package, including on-star. Cynthia is loving it. I don't get to drive it much, just on weekends, but when I do... it's great. We feel like we finally moved up to adults now. For some reason having the same car as a soccer mom makes you feel older.
We had a fall block party at our house over the weekend. Our Sunday School class at church sponsored it. We are trying to reach out to our neighborhood. There are over 200 homes within a mile of ours and very few families attend church. Saturday night we had hot dogs, popcorn, and hot chocolate. We watched "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and the new updated "Charlotte's Web". Both were good. We had almost 50 people show up... I was very happy with the turn out. On a lighter note... it simply amazes me that the hour long "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" TV special featured a short movie that was actually only 25 minutes long. How many commercials did they run during the TV special? I thought it would fill up our evening, but we had to watch Charlotte's Web too, to make the set up of the projection equipment worth it.
I hope all of you are doing well. Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm sure we will see most of our family then. To our friends, hopefully we can see you soon as well. May God Bless each of you...
